Experience the relaxation of camping with easy access to horse trails, picturesque landscapes and all the offerings of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
We offer a simple "no frills" approach to rustic horse camping. 28 camp sites offer 30 amp electric and water hook ups. Local campfire wood is provided to reduce emerald ash borer infestation in the area. Each site also offers covered stalls for your trail companions.

Health Papers and Coggins Test (within 1 year) are required for horses coming from out of state. You will be required to provide these prior to arrival. Missouri residents will need to provide Coggins papers only, also prior to arrival.
Pelettized bedding is preferred.
Yes, wheelbarrows and pitch forks are provided. Stall areas have concrete manure bunkers for this purpose.

Yes, the campground is located less than a half mile off paved Highway 106, 3 miles east of Eminence, MO. County Road 211 is a very well maintained gravel road that provides no challenges for your arrival.
28, The park is separated by Shawnee Creek. 8 "Creekside" locations are available and are located directly off of County Road 211. 12 "Hillside" locations are available by crossing Shawnee Creek. Some "Hillside" locations offer an "elevated" view of the creek.
No, Sites only offer 30 amp electrical and water connections. Onsite holding tank pumping is available from local vendors.
Yes, the creek is very shallow and good for sitting chairs in on hot days. Horses can cross the creek and get drinks as the cross. Horses are not allowed to play or ride up and down the creek.
Yes, we love well behaved dogs with responsible owners. Please don't bring your dog if it is going to be a nuisance to others or their horses.
Yes, the Creekside locations can easily flood and cause for a rapid departure. The Hillside locations are all elevated enough to avoid rising waters. However, your departure may be delayed in order to allow the creek to lower so you can safely cross again.
